Why is the volunteer Firefighters and EMS PAC (Flameout) important?

• Support proposed legislation that is pro-Fire and EMS
• To show our strength in numbers, so legislators will recognize us
• Flameout PAC is a focused effort for the benefit of all NYS Firefighters and EMS

What is a Political Action Committee?

• To collect monies from interested parties to support and collaborate with legislators
• To fund lobbying and reimburseme expenses to travel and lodging in the Capitol
• A 501-C4 organization (not-for-profit) and tax deductible.

This is the first PAC for Volunteer FDs in NYS.

We are looking for Charter members to contribute $100.00 and companies may contribute up to $5,000.00.

To be a Charter member, especially for your company, would highlight your involvement and commitment to the volunteer fire departments both on Long Island and throughout the state.

All checks should be made out to: Long Island Firefighters Legislative Committee. All donations are tax deductible as our PAC is a 501 C4 organization.
